This weeks playoff matchups:
PV8GC:
#7 Mike Carr vs. #1 Me
Mike Carr is on a roll ever since starting the BM season late (at week 8). I just won my first postseason matchup since 2000 (I beat Mike Mason in Round 2 and lost to Jill Mac. in the semi-finals). This is the first meeting between these two.
#6 Steve Duquette vs. #4 Brian LaValley
Steve Duquette final won his first postseason matchup. Brian LaValley makes it to the second round of the playoffs for the third season in a row. These two met in the regular season in 2001, the only season where we did H2H for the regular season. I believe Brian won that matchup, but I don't remember.
IPPC:
#7 Ron Folmer (coorskids) vs. #1 Dave Stewart (Stewball)
Ron Folmer survived Dave Marrier (Slammer) and moves on to the second round. Ron showed me how to win in JFL3 and now in the post season. The #1 person in the Yahoo! Pro Pick'em League (Beat Mike) and in entire Beat Mike, Dave knows how to win and to beat the veterans, like Dan Garnell. This is the first meeting between these two.
#6 Brian Foss vs. #4 jewballaz13
Brian Foss is a step closer to repeat as Beat Mike champion. Jewballaz13 is the next person to stop Brian's party. This is the first meeting between these two.
Good Luck!
Mike
