Hi Friend

You have received an invitation from to support the following petition http://petitionspot.com/petitions/ .

Hello everyone. As some of you may know, there are companies like Geico and All State trying to get customers in every state, except for Massachusetts. The reason why competition is not allowed in Massachusetts is because they set a rate that everyone has to pay. If every other state in this nation can have competition, why can't Massachusetts have competition for auto insurance. How come Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and other states can have accident forgiveness and not Massachusetts. Why are their ads being played on TV and radio in this state? Should something that is being advertised on TV and radio be available to those in Massachusetts? If Coke and Pepsi can compete for soda in this state, why can't Geico or All State compete for auto insurance? How would you feel if the only supermarket in the state is Stop Shop and all of it's stores have to sell products by the prices that the state has set? That would not be fair, would it? Competition is everywhere. This is the United States of America! Isn't it Massachusetts a state in the United States of America? If you agree with what I am saying in this e-mail and if you want competition for auto insurance in Massachusetts, please click on this site and sign my petition: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/AFCFAIMA. I know that I would ask only Massachusetts residents to sign the petition, but since I am trying to get as many signatures that I can, then everyone is welcome to sign it! All I ask is that you do not use fake names and please use your full name! This is a real petition and it will be sent to Governor Deval Patrick, Commissioner Nonnie Burnes, and my state rep. and senator. Thank You, Mike DiMauro P.S. Please let all of your family and friends know about this petition, so that they can sign it also. The more signatures I get, the more impact that it can bring to allowing competition for auto insurance!

Petition Statement: As some of you may know, Massachusetts is the only state that does not allow competition for auto insurance and the big name companies such as Geico and All State are not in this state. The state's auto insurance are all one price for everyone and they have to go by this price. With competition, you would allow the benefits of what the other states have. It is not fair that Massachusetts has to be the only state that does not allow competition. If Coke and Pepsi can compete in Massachusetts, then wouldn't you want Geico and All State to compete in Massachusetts? If the ads can be shown on TV or aired on the radio in this state, should we be able to get the service? If you sign this petition, you agree that competition should be allowed for auto insurance.

It is for a good cause, so please take the time to visit the petition and support it by signing it.

Thank you.
