Beat Mike Week 6

Beat Mike

Season 8, Week 6

Greetings everyone! WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN!!!!!! Or in the language of math, WIN times 14! I finally get a perfect week. For the first time in the game’s 8-season history, I get a perfect week. Well, I picked all of the favorites and those expected to win and guess what, all 14 games came out to wins. Those of you that are in the Yahoo! Pick’em can see that I did pick all 14 game winners this week. In addition to that, I do play Sack CK every week in The Republican newspaper and I was 13-0 (they only do Sunday games) in that game. BMN Sacks CK!!!!!! I will let you know if they list me as a winner in Wednesday’s The Republican. Keep your eye out in The Republican to see if I am listed as a winner! Here’s Week 6!

NEWS:

1. I know that this event is not until October 29, but I have some news for you. For the past two years, I have walked in the Rays of Hope Breast Cancer Walk at Forest Park in Springfield with the PV8 Pals. Now, I have formed my very own team called the BMN Pals (BMN=Beat Mike Network). I invite you to join my team. If you would like to join my team for the walk, please go to the web site http://www.baystatehealth.com/raysofhope and click on the register here button. When you do, for team, select BMN Pals. If you have any problems getting to that link, you can go to google.com or any search engine and type in “Rays for Hope.” You should connect then. Also, if I am able to, I will need to know your shirt size so that I can get you a shirt for the walk. After the walk, we will all go to a local restaurant to have pizza or a luncheon. There are two paths you can walk. The 5 mile (8 KM) or the 2 mile (3.2 KM).

If you are unable to join us for the walk, then you are welcome to sponsor me in the walk at http://www.baystatehealth.com/raysofhope.

2. For the NFL game channel listings, you can go to www.sirius.com. NASCAR radio is now on Sirius channel 128. The channel will debut in January 2007.

3. The MLB Playoffs are here! Please stay tuned for dates and times (All listings for LCS are in this newsletter).

4. Hey, enjoy camping? Want to be in a camping club? Well, I have your answer. Join NAFCA. NAFCA is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and you can be a part of it when you join NAFCA. You can go to NAFCA.org and get the membership form and you can fill it out and send it in. When you send it in, please put “Mike DiMauro” on it and when you do, both you and me would be entered in a drawing for a free week of camping. You know an even better way of joining? Come to one of the following meetings this weekend. If you live in Western & Central Massachusetts, Southern Vermont, Southwestern New Hampshire, Eastern New York, Northern Rhode Island, Northern Connecticut, or anywhere, you can come to the meeting on October 14 at PV8 Hall on Route 202 in Granby. If you live in Central & Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, or anywhere, you can come to the meeting on October 15 or November 19. Call Don Daniel at (978) 664-4294 for more info on the October 15/November 19 meeting. For more info on the October 14 meeting in Granby, MA, please call Diane Russell at (413) 734-6269. By going to a meeting, you will see what we are all about. Hope to see you at a meeting or event soon.

5. Standings will be sent on October 10 or 11. Week 7 newsletter will be sent on either October 16 or 17.

Have a fun week 6!

Mike
