Former Mayor Withdraws from Race
SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) - Former Springfield Mayor Theodore DiMauro says he has withdrawn his candidacy for the western Massachusetts seat on the governor's council. Two other democrats and one republican still remains in the race for incumbent Peter Vickery's seat. Vickery is not seeking re-election.

Theodore DiMauro is my father's second cousin, which makes me his third cousin. Teddy was mayor of Springfield in 1973 and again from 1978-1984.
