I am currently on the road to visit baseball graves in New Jersey, Delaware,
Maryland and Virginia. On or about August 15, I will hopefully be at Arlington
National Cemetery to visit a number of baseball related graves including this
one http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6201944. Too bad I
can't be there on August 10, the 40th anniversary of the first meeting of SABR.

You'd think that a mortuary called "At Seasons End" would have included a few details about a former major leaguer who spent 25 seasons in the game (14 as a player, 10 as a minor league manager, 1 as a scout).  Presumably, he rcv'd a no-frills cremation...

I can't vouch for its accuracy, but this report says Santo's ashes will be

Something is missing from his 1957 minor league record.
Baseball-reference does not show him pitching in the minors for 1957.
However, per Retrosheet he only pitched for the Pirates 26 June through 14
July of 1957.
