Good advice from Mr. Thurston. Leeds is, comparatively speaking, quite the
Bartitsu hotbed!
The Society for the Study of Swordsmanship doesn't have much of an online
"presence", but I recently worked with one of their senior guys (Mark Donnelly)
at the ISMAC event in Detroit, and can thoroughly recommend his take on
Bartitsu. I assume that the Leeds SSS branch would have at least a few people
who are interested in the art(s).
