Could we perhaps create some form of organized, voluntary "Bartitsu Directory"?
Something where anyone who so desires could list their location and some kind of contact information?
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Chris Amendola

Hi Mike,
I hope you enjoy the Compendium as well as "Cane as a Weapon".
With your MA background you should have no problems with the canonical Bartitsu syllabus. Judo and aikido will translate quite directly into the jiujitsu aspect and defendo striking is roughly equivalent to savate and old-school British boxing. Systema and tai chi, of course, are excellent means of training in combat bio-mechanics and have wide applications.
I'm not aware of any members of the Bartitsu Society in Edmonton, but with luck, some quiet list member will raise their hand ...
Cheers,
Tony

Thanks lone wolfThat's what I figured.I did order the compendium--looks great (and the cane as a weapon) from Lulu.com.I did find the vancouver place on the web as well, but I've only been there once.Is there another member of this forum or the Bartitsu society in Edmonton? If there is, perhaps I could train with this/these person(s).I have some martial arts background (judo, aikido, tai chi, defendo, and systema) so could probably accomplish such training safely with the help of the above books.
