Hi everyone,

I have been practicing Jiu Jtsu and self defence for 33 years and
have developed my own design 'Street Tough' I have been interested
in William Barton Wright for some years now, and seem to have
followed a parrallel path been an engineer as well. I can trace my
linage directly from my instructor Norman Grundy to W Garrud.(have
got original 2nd Dan certificate isssued to Norman Grundy from the
Garruds Ju Jitsu Institute (British and Dominions)
William Barton Wright is burried in Kngston cemetary, England, only a
few miles from where I used to live... I know the manager of the
cemetry so should be able to find out the exact grave position.
For those interested please see my web site:-

www.streettough.jiujtsu.co.uk

then look at articles and Anthony Carthew interview, which was
published in Martial Arts ilustrated magazine.

Look forward to hearing from you all

Best regards
Phil

Wonderful, Phil. We're thinking of using Garrud's book for the neo-bartitsu portion of the second book. You are very welcome, and I'll check out your site. ...
