the sequences we did at the Chicago workshop were weighted towards
theatrical fight choreography rather than kata in the traditional
sense, but there's no reason not to develop more strictly combative
paired kata as elaborations of the Pearson's sequences. I guess that
would be more at the neo-Bartitsu end of things ...
