Hi Brad,
I also have an X-Low Baron....without the tailfairing
it weighs 21lbs. I`m sure I could get it under 20lbs
if I really wanted to, but I`m happy with it the way
it is. It will be expensive to get the weight of your
bike close to where mine is now. The only stock parts
left on the bike are the frame and fork, and the fork
will be replaced soon. Some of the parts used to
lighten my Baron are....VeloKraft carbon tiller, seat,
and boom, as well as Profile Design carbon cranks,
titanium and aluminum fasteners, ZoteFoam seat pad
made by Garrie Hill, Spinergy Rev-X Team 650c tubular
rear wheel, Kooka brake levers which are only 89 grams
a pair, and also Ultegra caliper brakes. Shifters and
r. deraileur are SRAM XO, f. deraileur is an Ultegra
triple, chain is a SRAM 89R hollowpin. If you have any
questions you can email me at airxxxwolf@...
Here is a pic of my X-Low earlier this year when it
still had the Rotor cranks on it....
