---i just remeasured the old boom again and found that it is egg
shaped thicker across the top than it is top to bottom, and the od
is the same across the top as the new boom , so maby it will fit
after all, i will try it this weekend if i can wate that long.

My first reaction would be to say, "Don't do it!!!" The boom is the wrong size, and you don't want to take a mm or so off either the boom or the frame. ... ...

DO NOT TOUCH THAT CARBON BOOM UNTIL YOU READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boom will fit your bike...I have seen many Barons that had a rather poor fitting boom,...

Terry, Pretty much any of the spray adhesives will do the job, but I would highly recommend 3M Super 77... Don ... ...

Great write up, Don. I don't know what the specs are on the Baron clamp bolts using a carbon boom are, but my Fujin SL-II has a torque spec of 7.5 Nm maximum...

I’d be checking with Dana and getting his advice before you start. The boom will fit and there’s no need to deface it by ‘roughing it up’ or mess it up...
