I have a set of thracian wheels on my baron, and schwalbe stelvio
tires front and rear. Somehow, the front tire has started unraveling
along the sidewall near the rim - like a sweater with a loose thread,
it's becoming unraveled. It started this about the 800 mile mark.

I had thought to just get another set of stelvios, since I've not had
a single flat on the in spite of having ridden over some nasty terrain
- potholes, glass, etc. But I thought before I do that I'd check with
y'all and get some suggestions. I've been happy with the stelvios,
but if there's something faster out there I'd consider it, so long as
it doesn't detract too much from durability. Ideas?

Oh, and it would be nice if the tire also fit on either a vk2 fork or
a monoblade of some sort, since I expect I'll be swapping that at some
point.

Greg

That would have been my first guess, but it's on the opposite side of the chain. I can't think of anything that could have made contact with the tire. What's...

Greg, I quite like the Stelvios, and particularly the folding ones. Only trouble I've ever had was a bubble in the sidewall on a 406 after only 2000kms, but...
