I managed to get in 80.9 miles this week. A little better than what I had
predicted. This next week I am hoping of getting in 100 miles, then I will be
heading back to the States and start my two week taper. Really looking forward
to breaking 3hrs at Bayshore.

Rick,
Put me down for 13 miles this past week. Had some fun doing some trail running on some of the backpacking trails in the State Forest. Definately challenging with roots, rocks and other obstacles... .I got through a 5 miler without a scratch.

Another Aluminum Award...10.45 miles for me this week. This was a complete BF week for me, no Vibrams or anything else. I'm getting over the tenderness at the balls of my feet from being total foot nude and fancy free, but I hope to increase my BF mileage next week.

9.27 miles for me.
After cutting my run short last Monday due to breathing issues and severe fatigue caused by my cold/flu-symptoms, I took another 5 days off from running. My run today went much better. My oxygen intake was not 100% but much better than last week and the severe fatigue did not occur. I am hoping that tomorrow's run will also go well.

Hebrews 12:1 - Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us ...More!
Thanks Mike for the miles. I finished a little slower than I would have liked ... a 4:07 but nonetheless I am satisfied. Boston is just a tough course.
Blessings!

Rick,
10.61 bf running miles for me last week. I had a terrible cold last week with lots of congestion. I find that when I try to run with congestion it tends to get worse until I take a few days off.
I ran yesterday after taking 5 days off. My feet felt great but I was not able to bring in as much oxygen as normal. I ran much slower than my normal slow bf pace and worked on improving my running form. My feet still felt great after the run but I could hardly breath.
I plan to run again today. Hopefully today will be better. I hope that you did well in Boston. Keep performing those good works and promoting the Lord.
Blessings,
Mike R
