Trail runners,

The following is a reminder list I sent to people who had expressed interest
in the Gunpowder Fat Ass 50K on Saturday 22nd. If you are interested please

A couple reminders

1. Race registration is race day only starting at 7:15. I-83 North to Mt
CArmel Rd ( Exit 27 ) East to Left on York Rd. Go about 1 mile on York and
Bunker Hill Rd is on the left just past Hereford High School. Follow Bunker
Hill Rd about 1/2 into park and you will see large parking area on left. There
are bathroom facilities at the park about 1/4 mile from the parking lot.

2. Race is free but there is a suggested five dollar donation that will go
directly to the park.

3. Please bring one gallon of water for the communal water stops. Bring your
own gels, etc. We might have some but no guarantee.

4. Course is three 10 mile loops with about 1,000 ft of climbing per loop.
There are a couple extended flat sections however. Water stop is at a point you
hit at 3.5 and 6.5 miles into each loop and there will be water at
start/finish. You will also run right by your car if you wish to stash supplies
there.

5. There is an 8 hour time limit as race organizers would like to be home for
dinner.

6. Tell any trail runner friends about the event, the more, the merrier.
