On Sundays, January 9, January 23, and February 6,
Potomac Valley Track Club conducts all-comers indoor track meets at Thomas
Jefferson Community Center, 3501 S. 2nd Street
in Arlington
from 7:45 am to 12 noon.

These meets are for walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.
Events include
7:45 am Racewalks of 800m, 1600m, and 3000m
followed by walking clinic
8:15 am 55-meter, with heats from youngest athlete to oldest;
9:00 am 1 mile (1609.344m - 8.045 laps)
9:30 am 400-meter and 4x400-meter relay ALSO: Shotput clinic
10:10 am 800-meter
10:35 am 200-meter and 4x200-meter relay
11:30 am 3000-meter (1.86 miles - 15 laps)


The meets are
free for young athletes up to 8th grade;
$3 for high school athletes,
$4 for members of PVTC or DCRRC, and
$5 for all others.
