The Highway One Group, deweybeachlife.com is pleased to announce ?The Seven
Sisters of Dewey Beach? Running and Walking Series for 2003. Marathon Sports
Event Management, www.races2run.com will be managing the seven running and
walking events to be held in Dewey Beach Delaware throughout the summer
of 2003. The Seven Sisters of Dewey Beach will kick off on May 31 with
the 1st Annual Rusty Rudder 10K run and 5K run/walk. The Series will conclude
on September 6 with the finale, the 27th Annual Gary P. Lister Bottle and
Cork 10 Mile run and 5K run/walk. Alex Pires, from The Highway One Group
has designed the seven event series to provide a challenge for folks to
complete all seven running events during the Summer of 2003. Those individuals
who complete all seven running events will receive two tickets to the February
14, 2004 Bartenders Ball, a commemorative Seven Sisters of Dewey Beach
Sweatshirt,
dinner for two at the Rusty Rudder, Northbeach or Crabbers? Cove, and
recognition
at the Bottle and Cork run awards ceremony. The Seven Sisters Series is
also designed to provide vacationing individuals and families with a healthy
activity with a great post race party at a Dewey Beach restaurant while
they spend their summer vacation in the Dewey Beach area. Each race also
has a special age group prizes for individuals and team competition for
Beach Houses with a different theme for each of the seven races.

A portion of the proceeds of all seven events benefits: Beebe Vision 2005
Capital Campaign, Delaware Leukemia Chapter, Children?s Beach House in Lewes,
and the Delaware Ronald McDonald House. The host hotel in Dewey Beach for
all seven events with special race rates is The Marina Suites, 888-777-3613.

or more of the Seven Sisters of Dewey Beach running and walking events.
Each of the seven races will feature a different Dewey Beach restaurant
with a great running course, talk of the town tee shirts, and the best post
