Ahh, yeah I was wondering if we ever got compensated for losing Adalius to the
Patriots. I'm glad we do have a system like this, especially when we could use
the extra picks for building the offensive line.

Its a good system, the NFL and MLB do this, harder to notice in the MLB because

Four teams will get extra selections in the third round of the April 26-27
draft.
The Washington Redskins, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore
Ravens will make compensatory picks at the end of the third round, the Redskins
starting with the 96th overall selection.

Baltimore also gets an extra choice after the fourth, sixth and seventh rounds.
