Maybe RoLo will wind up in the bullpen again the way he's going. Or even
Chen.Nothing will happen till Penn gets some innings under his belt.Haven't
checked on Loewen lately.Last time I did he had one good start and one bad.
They really need a middle relief guy. The bullpen are mostly all back enders.

I don't completely agree that we have no players.  No team is loaded
from 1 - 9 in the line up, plus has bench depth, plus has the
starting and relief pitching.  You make do with what you do have.

I can live with our infield line up.  The problem is we did nothing
to add a talented OF.  We're sitting here waiting on the farm system.

Kris Benson was a nice add, but we needed more.  Our best relief
pitcher was our Opening Day starter.  Whether he likes it or not,
Lopez's best future would be as our long man.  We should have added
one more starter and we should have had BJ Ryan locked up a year
ago.  Then days like Saturday wouldn't have happened.  You'd have
replaced Chen with Rodrigo Lopez, then to Chris Ray, then to BJ
Ryan.  That's a bull pen.

u start putting ray in, in the 9th and he will be burnt out come july.  they
dont have an of'ers ready. they need to trade for a cheap veteran just to bat
250 or so while makekikis gets 2-3 months more in the minors.

I don't know if Brower will be released or optioned out but I'd say he is gone.

They'll probably bring up Ed Rogers or Fahey.

The problem is there are a lot of "day to day" injuries right now and who can
you put on the DL.

If Javy is Dl'd then you can bring up Fahey and Rogers to help fill in for
Roberts and Tejada.

They should also dump E-Rod and bring up Cory Morris for middle relief.

When Matos gets back they should send Markakis back to Bowie to get his head on
straight.

This was 100% Perlozzos loss. Brings in the two worst relievers in a close
game.Hamala or Williams or Rlleal would have been better.

I'm glad Pattersons doing better but Lozzhole shouldnt have had him bunting
later with Chavez lurking after Markakis. Complete idiocy.

I was looking at Ottowa's stats today and they are horrific offensively. Two
guys that are hitting are Fahey and Rogers both shortstops.

Todd Willams is ready to come off the DL. Everyone wants Brower to go but I bet

Ok ,, nice outing Cabrera,, But its Seattle,, we are 2-7 against the
Yanks,Sox and the Jays.
Until we play 500 ball against them and beat up on the less thans what do we
have? Last year when we was on a roll in April-May and we went to Detroit
and lost 3 and then went to Pittsburgh and lost 3,, jeezz. And hey, the less
thans last year are awesome this year. I look at Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa
Bay, Milwalkee, etc,, I see young kids playing ball,, we got Connine, Millar
etc,, come on let the kids play,, These kids are 21-22  bundles of energy,
cocky, let em in. I say,, bring up Lowen,
Penn, Majeski, now,,, let em go play, keep Makakis. Why do they need more
seasoning? I remember Dennis Martinez, Storm davis, Scotty Mac,, in the
bullpen getting ready. Let the Yanks and the Sox spend,, we  got the kids.
If we don't have a chance as people say,, why not get the young guys ready.

I hear where the Mets FO is thinking of demoting Julio real soon.
After has last terrrible outing he was spotted at a club lying down on
a bar taking shots this on top of putting on weight in the last few
weeks.

  Benson is what 3-2 with a 3.45 ERA thats not bad, he will be 14-12 or
15-13 with 200 innings for us.  Yeah that was a good trade!  Even if
he went 13-15.

who do you bring up?  we dont have anyone.  I see where the Cubs want Conine and
are offering Walker.

don't get why Lopez, Chen and Cabrera have flopped so bad so far this
season.

Can't Markakis get around on the ball and pull it?  Seems like he is

performance tonight.  Seems like Mazzone has helped him but I just
don't get why Lopez, Chen and Cabrera have flopped so bad so far this
season.

Check out one of those magazines that they both appeared nude on the cover for.
It's almost like the real thing... except there is a guy on the cover with them.
