Patterson to the bench against left-handed pitching. He hit just .207
against lefties last year."

training to show that he can hit lefties. I don't see how one spring
training will be more indicative of his abilities than the past
several seasons. I love the guy's hustle and speed but .207 against
lefties is just not acceptable.

i think most of the pitchers are lefty on most staff so he will get the bulk of the plaing time and platoon will make his avg look better, he could bat near or...
