Hit the road last weekend to check out 4 Tracks racing in Washington.
Saturday was Yakima Valley BMX Opener - Darrin Lorton new T.O. along
with his Crew Chad, Sal & Bethany to name a few - put on a good event.
Several Teams represented with riders ... UFO, Bust Out BMX,
Bakerview Racing, Diablos & Atomic Air. 14X & 16X were just about
full racks.
All in All a good turn out - I believe they were only expecting a few
motos - but ended up with forty something riders for 9 Motos.
Most everyone @ Yakima then headed for Columbia Basin. Beautiful Blue
Skies made for some awesome racing - Track was in good shape and
racing went off with out a hitch under the guidance of new T.O.'s
Barbara Cantwell & Bill Kaiser. 11 moto's of competition. Columbia
Basin has a punch card this season ... 10 races, 11th FREE !
Sunday morning Racing @ River Valley - another great day, alot of
excitement in the air. Lot's of riders sporting the new River Valley
BMX team jerseys. Reo Gustin and Mark Crosby were kept busy selling
gear and wrenching on rider bikes. TWENTY EIGHT MOTOS !
River Valley also has a punch card ... 10 single pt. races, 11th
single pt. FREE.
On to SeaTac BMX Sunday afternoon ... the new Center Cycle Team was
in full force, also heard that the new grass roots team @ Seatac has
launched ( Vortex BMX ) and has a few riders signed on.
Saturday was their opening day with 14 moto's, followed by TWENTY TWO
motos Sunday ! Kudo's to the new SeaTac Crew.
Also new for SeaTac ( very cool ) when you sign up Cruiser along with
a 20" registration ... Cruiser is just $5.
