RUN No:                       10(of 2009), 1,950 (since Dec 2^nd 1972)  [note: Run 2000 will hence fall on 22 Feb 2010 (unless there are some extra runs – Full Moon Runs etc). We aim to mark the occasion – any ideas, suggestions, volunteers welcome]

 

DATE & TIME:               9^th March 2009;   5:30pm

 

RUN TITLE:                    Old Man Ali the Referee’s BDay Run, Major Wanker’s Return, Prophets BDay

 

HARES:                         Major Wanker, Yousifilis, The Ref, All Black Nips   ??   

 

LOCATION:                               AMG-LFS (Awali Main Gate – Look for Signs – methinks its on East side of Awali – that’s Riffa, Alba way etc for those without a compass)

 

DIRECTIONS:               

 

from Mina Salman:      Do the Sitra Roadworks u-turn to get onto the Sitra Causeway.  Go straight over at roundabouts and lights until Awali Roundabout – after Riffa Views.  LFS – (U-turn then right – if I am right!)

 

from Manama:             Get on the highway from Pearl Roundabout – over Seef, Burgerland and Hamad Town Flyovers; non-stop THROUGH the 2 new underpasses (NOW OPEN!!) – Left under the University Entrance Bridge onto Zallaq H/Way.  LFS from Awali RB (straight on ?)

 

CO-ORDS:                    Google Earth Placemark attached – cant go wrong …… can you??

 

BBQ ON:                                  There will be an erection!  There may even be some food!!

Run 1952, March 23^rd    (yep – the week after next!) Dildo Dan may have to Wimp Out of laying a trail in honour of his beloved Mud Devil’s BDay (25^th) – claims to have a bad back or something – cant carry flour!  Perhaps some Virgin Hare Assistants to do the flouring - under DDan’s skilful guidance – maybe Mud Devil will show them her appreciation!!

 

Run 1954, April 6^th        MesserShit is heartbroken to have to inform us that he cannot after all lay this one which was to be his LAST STAND RUN – bloody work (who is his heartless Boss?)

 

Thereafter – could be ok (pending no further cancellations) until May 4^th (Post DDO Run) and beyond.  Pre DDO run – April 27 – might need some hares if Dancing Queen and I can get organized and have a holiday!

 

A Nancy Welsh Boy has hijacked what was supposed to be the St Georgeous Day Run (1956 April 20^th)  – just cos its his Bday huh!  Claims he can do it on his own – and lay the trail! So the English have lost out to the Welsh – shame on you!!
