Also, I'd like to know more about the comfort factor on the Baccetta
aluminum frame.  I once rode a fast DF, oversized aluminum.  Fast, but
it beat me to death, almost.  I still have the Klein - a beautiful
bike - but I never ride it.

       Here is a great article on bicycle frame materials and the relationship of tube size, material stiffness, and frame durability.
 
 
 
        The stiffness of your Klein has to do with the size of the tubes chosen.  Aluminum is actually only ~1/3 as stiff as steel.

I have owned multiple Canondale road frames, so I understand your perspective. I'll take OCLV any day over oversize aluminum. However, another huge difference...
