I believe a small Giro frame is shorter than a Rocket frame,
assuming just the frame. So that might go in a Crateworks box.

One is going to be traveling with two bags, so I would consider
putting the seat in a duffle, along with clothes. This might also
reduce the issue with the 50lb limit.

Note that additional _clothes_ might go in a carry-on. And that
no one seems to mind if you carry on a helmet, jacket, etc.
seperately.

Of further interest: The Crateworks recumbent box inner dimenaions are 8 " X 26 " 59.25". The ~58" monotube length of a Medium Giro might probably fit inside....
