I am open to suggestions when it comes to reloading .45 for Bullseye
Shooting. I am currently using Winchester 231 using 200 Grn SWC and
I am using a charge of 4.4 grns with a light spring. Does anyone
have another possible charge to recommend? Or What about using 185
SWC? Does it really may much of a difference in accuracy? Also is
there anything I should watch for or do with the crimp?
This is what happens when you are new to something.. you ask
questions. RIGHT?

You're certainly in the ballpark already. The classic bullseye load is 4.0 of Bullseye powder under a 200 grain LSWC. That's the load everything else is...

I am with Norm. I use about 4.0 grains of Clays with both 200 SWCs and 185 SWCs. The 200s seem to be more forgiving. I mean they seem to work in everything...
