I wasn't happy with the stock Ultra Dot rings, they never moved, They
just raise the scope higher then needed, and the top of the rings were
distracting to me.
I was told to try some standard Weaver quick release rings, There
cheap, light and lower. Plus you can take the scope off without having
to relevel the scope.
This will make adjusting the scope balance forward or back on my
pistol easier to do at the range.
There may be other companies that make lower rings, if your not happy
with your stock rings, replacement is possible.
