The past ten years I've been plinking with an old 45 cal stainless barrel that's
been used
through several jungles, as it has some patches of worn lands. The interesting
thing is that
after I put 15-25 rounds of ball through it after cleaning, it starts to show
good accuracy.
Does anyone know why the old barrel becomes accurate after I shoot some rounds
through
it? Fitting a new stainless steel match barrel as my summer project. But
saving the old
barrel too for hardball ammo.
