Asking a question like this of target shooters is a little like asking

I assume you're referring to .45ACP and not .45LC.

I also assume there's going to be differences between guns.

In my Kimber Match II 45acp with an 11 lb. return spring (stock spring
is 16 lb) I like:
-Rainier 200gr. Plated bullets
-Remington (R-P) case
-Winchester Large Pistol Primers
-5.0gr of Winchester 231
-OAL 1.265

Velocity is about 733 fps with a very tight group at 25 yards and very
light recoil.
