Two questions on .38 special ammunition   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2001 of 2340 |
I'm just getting started in Distinguished Revolver competition and do
not at this time do any reloading; is there any manufacturer that has a
good reputation for commercial target ammunition? I quick search has
shown quite a price range and I imagine the old "you get what you pay
for" adage holds true but is there any maker on the lower price end
with a good reputation?

Also, my copy of the NRA rulebook says competitors must use 158 grain
bullets in either round nose or semi wadcutter configuration but on
another site I was told only round nose ammunition can be used. Has
there been a change in the rules? My book says "effective 2005".

Thank you.

Ned
