Re: [BULLSEYESHOOTERS] Merit Optical Sight

My experience with the merit iris device has been remarkable. i first sued the
model with a small suction cup to attach to a pair of glasses for indoor pistol.
meanwhile, i setup a pistol with one scope made by ultra-dot (which i love to
shoot) with comparable guns and ammo, the resulting scores are the same all
around and minor improvements are simply fine tuning and practice. the merit
iris device is, of course used with iron sights and adjusts to maximize the
shadow effect on your sight picture. this setting will vary according to light
conditions. on the other hand, the ultra-dot scope is adjusted (similarly, as
to brightness of dot) the same way as to light conditions. one obvious
advantage between the two is the weight difference of having a scope mounted on
your gun or the tiny merit iris device mounted on your glasses. i enjoy both
and have a hard decision marking a preference.

Any comparison as to effectiveness vs Red Dots?
