Another successful QC-Tri this weekend. While we missed most of the action going
on at the YMCA headquarters on Saturday, Chris, Mack & I had a great view of
things near Benton Avenue while operating the water station. When we weren't
catering to the 70+ athletes that would run by (twice), we were able to steal
views of the Capital High Bruins softball team over at Batch Field marching
toward a state championship all afternoon. Lots of walkers, bikers and even a
couple of dogs accessing the Centennial Trail also stopped at our little
waterin' hole for a visit and a cup of water "on the house." We also passed the
time watching the steady stream of trucks & trailers hauling brush, garbage &
other items on their dump run pilgrimages. Lots happening yesterday on Benton
Ave. yesterday!

Congrats, and thanks, to Russ & everyone else that helped pull off the Queen
City Triathlon. Good work to everyone that competed as well.
