As of right now, I am planning on opening the registration
Monday afternoon. We will include the USAT one-day license in the $45
entry fee this year. If it turns out to be a problem, we can re-evaluate
for next year, but I think we’ll be o.k. The race flyer should be
ready to go tomorrow some time. I’ll advertise on the same tri
websites as last year as well. I am also planning on sending an e-mail
out to last year’s participants to let them know registration is open,
and to a few other people who have expressed interest this year.
I am going to meet with Teri Wright from the YMCA some time
soon and get some details worked out for a kids race to be held after the
regular race finishes up, so if anyone has any questions or concerns in that
department, let me know. The Y seems to be a pretty good location since
we can keep them off the streets and in sight the whole time.
