So often in life we seem to just “throw away” money on seemingly insignificant little things. Random items in the check-out line at the grocery store, a candy bar at the gas station, multiple trips to Starbucks in a single day. Those extra dollars can really start to add up.
Most people can spare a single dollar and I would like to attempt running a little “social experiment” to call on the kindness of strangers. All I ask is that people anonymously donate a single dollar to my Team In Training marathon fundraising and then help to spread the word to others. I would like to see how much we can raise for charity by simply doing a grassroots effort to spread the word and asking for a minimal contribution. Are you game to help?

The really great thing about this is your donation is all going to charity, it’s not like I’m asking you to fill my gas tank or anything. I’m asking for a small, 100% tax-deductible donation to a charity that is devoted to finding a cure (or at least better treatments) for cancers. You can help out and earn some warm, fuzzy, feelings at the same time.
