Let's get out and ride in the beautiful fall Colorado weather.

Rampart Reservoir is located in the Woodland Park area. It is a
beautiful 15 or so mile ride around the reservoir with stunning views
of Pikes Peak. This time of year the aspens may be changing as well
which will only add to the view.

Let's meet at the Garden of the God's visitor center at 9am and leave
from there, to get to the trail head around 10ish. The visitor center
is outside of the Garden of the God's park just off of 30th. There we
can set up carpools etc. Bring a little extra cash to help those who
will drive out with gas $$.

Either email me or call me to let me konw if you can make it.

Thanks,
Todd

Hey all those guys over at dust2dust have a ride scheduled for Friday.
See the following link for information.

http://www.dust2dustmtb.com/category/fridays/

Looks like the Falcon Trail located on the Air Force Academy will be on
the menu.

Great trail with some really nice fast singletrack. I have ridden the
trail about 5 times this year and it is a hoot. So have fun, hope you
can make it.

Todd

PS I am trying to make this ride but not sure yet. If I do get there
it will be at 430pm so a little later than the posted time.

Hey everyone,

This is an informational email about my August.

I will be on the go go go in August so I won't likely be making many
of the rides this month. Starting Wed 8/6 I will be in Argentina on a
missions trip with my church. I will be back on the 18th for that
week, then I will be in San Diego for the last week of August for
work. Fun fun fun.

Anyway I want to encourage you to keep riding. Check out the links
for the weekly Friday rides.

http://www.dust2dustmtb.com/category/fridays/

Dust2dustmtb is planning a Winter Park excursion
http://csbomb.com/

And looks like Keith is putting together a Pikes Peak DH run. Contact
Keith for more information.

Lots to do so get out and ride and connect, and represent Christ on
the trails.

It is time again!

We've done Barr trail all the way from the summit a few times, this time we'll take it from Elk Park.  Not quite as much descending in vertical feet, but Elk Park is reportedly much more rideable than the upper few miles of Barr Trail (most is hike-a-bike).

Please respond to Keith  if you are interested.

Let me know what dates are best for you, in order to use the shuttle service a week day would be best.  Any week day the last week of August (25th through 29th).

The Friday weekly ride this week will be at Palmer Park. From the
dust2dustmtb site:

http://www.dust2dustmtb.com/category/fridays/
"Come on out and rock Palmer Park with us this coming Friday. Palmer
Park offers a variety of terrain, from slow and steady to hang on to
your hat insane. We'll probably be feeling a little more insane than
steady.

Ride time is 3pm. Meet at the west entrance (near the horse stables)
right where the gate to the park is. We'll get our uphill out of the
way at the beginning.

Hope to see you there. Please RSVP (comment, email, call) if you plan
to attend. 5 minute rule is in effect"

Check the link for more info on weekly Friday rides. May try to
institute a another weekly ride on another day of the week.
I will be out of town on this weekend so no rides this weekend.

Get out and ride.

Short notice for a ride.

It is also a holiday so many of you will have other plans.
But I plan on a quick ride on Monday May 26 at 9am 'ish.
This will be a low key, taking it easy ride. I am just getting over a
cold so I will not be in any hurry or looking to breake any records.

Meeting place will be the Yucca flats dog walk area. What trails we
ride will depend on who is able to show.

Let me know if you can make it via email or on my cell.

Date:
May 26, Monday
Place:
Palmer Park
Time:
9:00 am 5 minute rule will be in effect. At 5 after if I haven't
heard otherwise I will be somewhere on a trail.

Thanks and let's ride!!!
Todd

Directions:
- From Union/Circle/Fillmore intersection, head East on Circle. Turn
left on Paseo (1st street). Continue into the park following the road
up the hill. Turn left on the dirt road for Lazy Land. Follow the
road to the deadend/parking area. That is the dog walk area.

- From Maizeland/Academy enter the park and keep driving up and over
the twisty hill turn right on the dirt road for Lazy Land. Follow the
dirt road all the way to the deadend/parking area. That is the dog
walk area.
