arm and it should be replaced.

1983 Schwinn Super Sport 12spd racer/commuter. This has been one of the best
bikes I've ever owned but I must part with it to generate some $$ and because
it doesn't quite fit me right. The frame is a 57cm (c-c)with a 56cm top tube (c-
c). This bike should fit someone around 5'7" to 5'11". As you can see, the
original drop bars have been replaced with upright alloy riser bars, in
addition to top mount friction thumb shifters. Other updates include the stem,
alloy pedals and toeclips, grips, brake levers, Serfas saddle, black alloy
wheel skewers, rear rack, and new tires. It has all original drivetrain parts,
wheels and brake calipers. The drivetrain is a Suntour ARX 12spd friction
system mated to Sugino cranks, all of which are in excellent shape. The bike is
ready to ride and only shows minor paint imperfections. This is a great bike
for commuting or for use on the Katy trail. The Tange Champion chromoly tubeset
gives this bike an exceptional ride you won't find anywhere new for less than

I can't find out a lot about this bike, but it is an Italian made lightweight,
12 speed, that dates from the mid 1970's silver road bike, with chrome front
fork. Steel lugged bike, with truly stunning cutout lugwork, red accents.
Headbadge says Milan. The components are all Galli (Italian made, look and feel
like Campi), The derailleurs are Suntour Cyclone, front and back, handlebars
and stem are 3T. Bike total weight is somewhere in the 20 lbs range. Paint and
chrome are pristine, no scratches, no dings, a few smudges in decal areas. Rear
wheel made in Italy, front is a French on Maillard hub, 700 C.
Standover height 30 1/2", b.b. to top of seatpost is 21", top crossbar is 21
1/2" center to center.
Tuned up, checked over and ready for many more miles.
$275 obo (and once you ride it, you will know the bike is worth that and more!)

Long before Trek ruled the cycling world, Paramount was the premiere ride. This
bike was considered a top-of-the-line when it was built in the 90’s. Today, it
is still a top frame 15 years later. It has a very thin-wall steel bike that
absorbs road shock beautifully. It’s difficult to beat the ride of thin-wall
steel. It gives titanium, carbon fiber and of course aluminum a run for the
money. Waterford knows how to build them. This is a handmade bike made at the
legendary Paramount Design Group factory owned by Schwinn in Waterford,
Wisconsin. This same factory continues to make top of the line Waterford
Precision Bicycles.

The bike is in excellent overall condition. The frame fades from black to dark
red and the paint is still bright, however it does have some small chips and a
few minor scratches. The tires are brand new Hutchinson Excel with a duel red
stripes. This bike is outfitted with DuraAce cranks/derailleurs, Ultegra
shifters/brakes and Mavic Classic Pro Wheels with Mavic Classic Pro hubs,
Thompson Elite seatpost, Interloc stem. The double chainwheel /crank does have
some imperfections on the finish but in no way effects operation. The bike
looks great and receives positive comments when others who know bikes see it.
The paint scheme makes it look more like a contemporary bike than the classic
that it is. I am the second owner. Both owners maintained the bike very well
and it shows. Get it to ride or get it to collect. I seem to have less and less
space to store things, so I’m letting it go. 57.5cm; $895. . I can email a good
quality photo that you can zoom in and better see the bike.

Hello and thanks for looking.
For sale is my 1984 Olmo "La Biciclissima" roadbike. It's a 56 cm, actual
measurements are 56 cm toptube, 56 seattube c-c. Classic geometry. It is
constructed of Columbus tubing for the classic Italian steel ride, and has
horizontal dropouts (I think they're Campagnolo)for all you singlespeed/ fixie
types.It currently has a longish stem and seatpost with a bit of rearset, so it
will probably fit a rider of about 5'11"- 6' best.
All the componentry is early 90's vintage shimano 105 7 speed with downtube
shifters and dual pivot brakes. All these components have low miles,so you will
be suprised at how well everything functions.
The frame and fork are in good overall shape but have some paint chips and
scratches. No dents, cracks, or re-welds that I can see. It's a cool Italian
ride.
