This wheel has maybe 100 miles on it with no rear
brake on the bike, so really no wear of any sort. It
is a Sovos 36 hole flip-flop hub with a longer cro-mo
axle, currently spaced to 126 but it might have room
to go to 130. I have the regular nuts on it but with
thick knurled washers so the effect is the same as
track nuts. It is laced 4X with stainless spokes to
an Alex rim, satin anodized and 21mm wide. It has
Velox rim tape on it. It is a basic flip-flop rear
wheel, but it is in great shape- $75 shipped and
insured in the lower 48.
Thanks, Doug
P.S. I can possibly supply a longer axle and/or used
track nuts at additional cost...

Am selling my RB-1, which is a tad small for me. Size is 59 c-t
The bike is in excellent shape except that the "Bridgestone" decal on
the downtube is missing a letter on each side (an 'o' and an 'n,' I
believe). Will supply replacement pair of NOS downtube decals.
Specs are as follows:
Headset = Dura Ace (will provide original HS, too)
Crank = Dura Ace (will provide original Sugino crank/BB)
Rear Wheel: 7-speed Dura Ace w/ Mavic rim. Conti GP tires.
Front wheel is RX-100 hub w/ Wolber rim.
Cassette = Dura Ace 7-speed.
Fork: Black Kestrel EMS carbon fiber (will provide the original
steel crown fork).
Pedals original (nb: bearings are rough). Time pedals included, too.
Sakae seatpost.
Ultegra FD, RD and DT shifters.
Ritchey force stem and Nitto bar.
Diacompe BR300 levers and bars.
No saddle.
Cycle computer w/ dead battery.
Took some digital pix that turned out poorly (it's like looking at
the world with 20/100 vision), but will send if you're interested.
$650 plus shipping takes it all; $525 gets you the bike with the
original headset and crank and fork I'll keep all the extra parts
(time pedals, DA HS, carbon fork and DA crankset/bb.). Would also
consider selling the frameset. If my prices are nuts, please let me
know.

TREK 720 FOR SALE
1984 Trek 720 touring bike. 54cm - Reynolds 531
throughout and investment cast fixtures. One sweet
touring steed in excellent condition. Overall, the
burgandy-colored frame is in excellent condition with
some of the usual nicks. Very minor corrosion (touched
up) on 2 top-tube cable guides. The bike has low miles
- all original components except saddle. Choice of OEM
Suntour friction barcon shifters or Campy downtube
(braze-on mounted) shifters. Original gum hoods are
rather dry. Includes original front lowrider and rear
Blackburn racks and 3 bottle cages - racks and cages
all in matching blue. Tires are NEW Panaracer
Tourguard folding 27" x 1 1/4". The originals were
replaced by me due to dryness of sidewalls. Treads
were still quite good - I will ship the original
(radial if my recollection is accurate) tires also
upon request. Half-step + granny gearing. If it fit
me, I wouldn't be selling it - believe me. Will
consider trade for same in ~56cm. $425 OBO + actual
packing and shipping (estimate $60). Digital photos
available to serious parties. See www.vintage-trek.com
for actual specs. See the gallery section for a
similar bike, same model and year.

Any year, any condition MB-3, 2, 1 or Zip. I need a 19-20" frame. I
have an 1990 MB-2 that I rode and raced for 7 years and now it has a
crack propigating around the middle of the top tube. Sort of a fatal
blow that will eventually claim the life of my bike. The clock is
ticking, I need a transplant.
Help!
Thanks,
Clarence

Hi Ray:
Your reasoning is sound and you should have no trouble. I ride a 52-53cm
road bike and my XO-1 is a 55. Fits fine with a slightly shorter stem. Have
fun, you'll love it.

I have bought, but have not yet received, a Waterford RS 12 made of Reynolds
753 tubing, Henry James stainless steel lugs, Henry James investment cast
fork crown, etc. Can anyone who owns/has owned one of these give me an idea
of what to expect as far as ride, durability, workmanship, etc.?
Thanks,
Frank

I have a 91 MB2 FRame and Fork. It needs a repaint but I have a set
of decals I'll let go with it. email me at shawnluther@...
Here are some photos http://www.pbase.com/shawnluther/mb2
It has the rigid fork shown in the indoor photo.
I am new to Bobish Bikes and want to know something about my purple MB4. Where
did this rank in the lineup? Can I still get elastomers or a rebuild kit for
the original "Struts" suspension fork?
Curious,
MC

I ran across this posting while searching for a 63cm touring frame or bike:
http://www.cascade.org/boards/bikeadsboard/messages/2262.html
I have no direct knowledge of this, so you are on your own.
Anyone have a line on a good, reasonably priced steel touring bike in 62-63cm
size?
Please let me know if you do.
Thanks. --Dan
I'm looking for an RB-1, 62 cm only, in reasonable shape. I'm after either
a frame/fork or a complete bike. I can offer either cash or some sort of
trade for my 60 cm Gunnar Crosshairs.
Thanks,
Eric Daume

I HATE shipping bikes. Nothing but miserable experiences. If there
are any collectors and/or enthusiasts in southeast Texas (or anywhere
close), plan to come by. I have several vintage lightweights and
special interest bikes that I must sell. They are all in a mini-
warehouse. Raleigh, Mercier, Motta, Motobecane, Peugeot, others.
Lots of Schwinn stuff & a vintage Jamis MTB.
Please let me hear from you.
Hi everyone, I'm writing because I just got a vintage LeJeune steel,
beautifully lugged frame in pretty decent condition and I have no
idea where to begin to fix her up. I tend to believe it is from the
late 60's or so. If anyone has any ideas or parts, please let me
know.
Thank you MR. B for answering my post searching for a early model
Bridgestone MB. It runs great and rides like a thoroughbred
(spelling?). I hope everyone else looking for their classic dream
bike finds it.
BTW if anyone needs/wants some old Suntour Blaze components I will
sell them for enough to cover shipping and the work to send them.
(make an offer)
60 cm Specialized Expedition an/or Sequoia ( 1980's models, Not the current

Any Swedes out there that would appreciate a hand-made Crescent
ladies tourer? This bike is completely original and bright orange.
It is your standard 10-speed but is set up for touring. The
Huret/Alvit derailleurs and cottered cranks put it around the early
70s. This Swede is sweet!
