There's a comment under the Tulsa World story saying that this young man
is troubled, and was out without his mother's knowledge. She didn't
know he was gone until he was in the hospital.
Yes, he was riding against traffic - an extremely hazardous practice day
or night. But the story doesn't mention if he was on a neighborhood
street. A few years ago, the legislature changed the law so it's legal
to ride at night without lights (but with reflectors) on streets with a
speed limit of 25mph or less. My opinion - it's a stupid change.
