YO HASHERS!

 

Just got an update. St. Arnolds brewery is going to have naming rights bidding in the near future for 2 fermenters. The last time I tried to do this we only had 24 hours notice. This time we have a few days at least. I will get a firmer time frame tomorrow. Here is the scoop......

 

I propose that as many hashers that are able contribute $25.00 to a fund to bid on the naming rights for one of the fermenters. The propsed name would be (insert drumroll here) ...............St. Gispert! What better way to commorate G than by giving him Sainthood! Think about it, who else can say they elevated G to Sainthood except the Texas Hash House Harriers. We would rank up there with the Vatican, how many kennels can say that?

 

The last fermenter went around $2500.00. Since there are 2 this time maybe we have a better shot at winning. $25.00 from 100 hashers would secure the amount. Hopefully we can get it cheaper but if not at least no one can say we did not try. If some want to contribute more great, if some can only contribute less great also, every little bit would help. Any monies left over could be spent on a party at the brewery to celebrate. As a start I am putting up the first $25.00.

 

For the rest of the week just post emails to our Yahoo Mosquito group with your commitments. My email box got flooded last time so please post to our groups. Pass it on to all the non computer beer drinking Hashers out there. Look forward to an exciting time.
