The B.C. Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) promotes the development of its athletes through participation in competitive aquatic sports. BCSSA provides opportunities for training, competition, and related activities throughout B.C. and surrounding areas.

BCSSA promotes and supports four aquatic disciplines (speed swimming, diving, water polo, and synchronized swimming) in a highly competitive summer season from May 1 through September 30, with restricted participation in these aquatic sports from October 1 through April 30.

BCSSA is an organization of member clubs.
