A good friend of mine, Marco Torres, is one of the people being considered to become a torchbearer in next year's Beijing Olympics. He's requesting us to vote for him in the following link:

I'm forwarding one of his emails, with an update on the status of his "candidacy." I think you can vote more than once, but not during the same session. I'm not sure. I've voted 3 times already :).

Apologize for spamming.  Email is the best tool though for this as you can conveniently send a link.

Anyway, we are closer to having a Pinoy torchbearer for the 1st time in 44 years.  We are now at no. 11.   This is a grand opportunity considering the Olympics may not happen in Asia again in another 50 years.
