So I was thinking again, this place is really slowing down. I
checked out ASJ.org last night and I didnt even know that someone
else took over the thing after Evi. Wow, I'm so observant, but I
also haven't visited the site in a very long long time. I was
reading Evi's message on the site about how she got all bored with
it because there was never anything to update. It's like we have a
fanclub and a webpage for a ghost, right? And yeah, more than
likely, none of us will ever hear from him and we will probably not
see him on TV anymore. But, he was still awesome when he was on TV
and he's still a sweet martial artist and who can forget he's just
gorgeous? So I was thinking...Austinize your talent. What the heck
does that mean? Good question.

I'm a video editor. I make movies, I make documentaries. I edit that
sort of stuff. I've made a Tommy/Kim video before and a Jason video
before. Of course they are very old and sucked very bad. But now, if
I had access to the clips I would make a new video about
Jason/Austin. I would use my talent - for Austin. So that's what I'm
asking of you.

Do you like to draw? Draw Austin or something relating to him.
Write? You know what to do.
Dance? Create a dance in Austin's honor, tape it, and send it!
Any talent you have, find a way to Austinize it and send it to
ASJ.org or just post it here on the fanclub.

What ya guys think? YOU CAN DO IT!

Amy

I agree for the most part. I have Brock's video, trust me, it is DEFINITELY
not him. Who gives a crap what anyone says about him, Austin will always
remain in our memories. You know im saddened for the most part that he isnt
around, and part of me is happy that he hasnt popped back like steve. I'd
rather have him preserved in our memories unscathed.

I am so sick of this Sean Cody crap!! I need to vent! Jeez it's
everywhere ppl are really latching on to this crap and riding it for
all its worth! Ppl so wanted these power rangers to fail that even the
smallest slight resemblance will be taking out of proportion and made
scandalous! Why can't Austin live his life, I mean it seems like ppl
are making this stuff up to lure him out of hiding or something? Ugh!

I highly doubt Austin would do something like that and if he did
that's his business I don't think any of us would offer to pay his
bills for him.

Second, JUST LOOK at the picture it's obviously not him, the jaw is
wrong, the ears are different, the forehead. I mean from the side I
can see a slight resemblance but "Brock" seems over 6 ft tall Austin
is somewhere around 5'8 and last we saw Austin he was a little chubby
or bulky and definitely not all choc-full-o- steroids! And forget the
looks for a minute, no one is even asking if they sound alike?? I
think this Sean Cody person probably started the rumor and isn't even
confirming anything! I can't tell you how many ppl on various forums
have paid money to see the video just to see the "Red Ranger" in
action! Ugh!

Anyway, hopefully this will quietly go away! Lets all remember Austin
for who he was and what he did! A huge part of my childhood involved
the Power Rangers and it's a bit sad to see ppl taking a simple thing
such as "they have the same eyes" and laughing at him and happy that
their "the power ranger actors will never amount to anything" prophecy
came true. They have their personal accomplishments to keep them busy.
Who cares if they didn't make another movie or appear on tv again.

Here is a fun links to reminisce

That is definitely not Austin. Obviously someone just got some easily
available Austin pics and posted them up and called it his profile.
As for the last two pics of him shirtless, it's not even Austin in
the picture. It's some guy named Brock who was on an adult site. Take
a look: http://seancody.com/page.php?frame=movie&tab=about&movie=309

i agree, especially since his main image is actually "Brock" from Sean Cody,
a gay porn site where straight men pose for money. That, and his bio is
obviously not written by him.

Nope, that's not him.  Especially considering one if not ALL of those pictures were stolen off Amy's site.  Austin's real name isn't Austin anyway.  I'll ask around and see if I can find the real myspace, IF he has one.  But unfortunately, that's not it.

Actually, a friend of mine knows Steve pretty well from when he used to live and teach in Valenica, CA.  I know for sure that it really is Steve on myspace.  Steve actually really hasn't changed that much.  He used to go out partying while he was living in California too.  The only reason we actually know about it now, is because it's plastered all ofer his myspace.  But honestly, what did we all know about the "real" Steve Cardenas all those years ago?  Basically nothing!  So really, don't be so surprised.  Yes, it's kind of shocking.  But if you think about it, we were all kids way back when we first started watching power rangers, and now look at us.  We know more because we have this information super highway at our disposal, and we all obviously spend HOURS goofing around on myspace.  But really, Steve is't the only person wiht a shocking myspace.  You probably wouldn't believe some of what is on mine either, or even Amy's, or half my friends . . . We are all different and we are all human.  And unfortunately, now that we've "grown up", none of us are who we used to be.
