Rex, I haven't seen any discussions here on music or poetry, perhaps you're
thinking of another list. I apologize if I offended you. The only reason I
posted my request about eliminating off-topic posts is because I'm an Astros
fan but I do not live in Houston so I have no interest in the Rockets; also
I think there are several other people on this list who live outside of
Houston (a few in Austin I believe) and some list-members are even
out-of-state. So threads about the Rockets or the Texans will be of no
interest to these folks. I am not the list moderator, so you are certainly
free to ignore me until such time as he steps in. But I just thought I'd
politely ask that we keep the discussion all about the 'Stros. Btw, I do
love basketball but being in San Antonio you can probably guess which team I
tend to root for.
