I am wondering if I am sick, but I feel no symptoms besides shortness of breath.
Following the race I didn't get sore, although my leg muscles felt like wet
noodles for two days. I thought I was just tired, but yesterday I realized I
have been avoiding physical activity since the Shamrock.

Yesterday I started noticing that I got very winded after doing small things
like carrying a basket of laundry upstairs. This morning I felt as if I wasn't
breathing in enough. I got abnormally aggravated that I left my cell phone in
the house this morning, because I knew going back to get it would make me tired
and dizzy. That's what made me pay attention.

Now I'm slightly more concerned because I just came back from my run. Nostrils
flaring like the end of a megaphone, I couldn't breathe enough air. I felt as
if I was running while holding my breath (yes I've done that). What's going on
with me? Can lungs be over exerted like the other muscles in our body...I can't
stretch my lungs before and after races!
