This is a place to coordinate and celebrate bike culture in Asheville.

Rather than spend thousands on a cherry MTB or road bike and put it up on top of your SUV and drive someplace pristine to ride it, you’d rather trash pick raw material and build whackness and wreck it and build it again.

You would rather ride a home-tweaked single gear or fixed gear without brakes.

You like your bike pink and fuzzy.

You like to see just how much you can haul on your bike or trike or unicycle.

Family bike ride is much more fun than the family minivan ride.

You get that dents, rust, scratches and bent parts add character.

Drinking and riding a bike seems like such a better idea than drinking and driving a car, actually riding a bike seems better than a car drunk or not.

You like to ride with a hundred or so friends, taking over the streets for a change.

Riding choppers down mountain single track without brakes seems like a fun race to have.

Your bike is so dangerous to ride no body will steal it and survive.

Your bike is so messed up looking and outrageous you don’t have to lock it.
