If you have a valid concealed weapons license you are fine.

If you are "traveling" you are also fine. The definition of traveling varies by
prosecutor, but is usually an overnight stay. Once you reach your destination
you must remove the handgun from the vehicle (or unload it). You are not still
travelling when you go out to get something to eat, etc and it is then illegal.
This varies greatly by state, but this is the current law in Arkansas.
