The inside of your locked vehicle is also considered to be your private
property. Who's private property rights trump whose?
Right now, legally, the lot owner can dictate what you can have in your own
private property IE in you vehicle by making compliance to the rule a condition
of employment.
Is it right? I don't think so. But as to carrying, on your person, outside of
a vehicle. Yeah, I can see that the lot owners wishes would be the rule of the
area. But I also think that anytime a private property owner makes demands of
being unarmed, that they should also be held to the duty of protecting you, and
held liable for failure to do so.
