RE: [ArkansasShooters] Jersey

I wonder what the lawsuit would have been on this if the guy had gotten
murdered or something on the trip home because he didn't have his .45?

When I was running for Congress in '04, I was asked about this. My reply
was, "When the government deprives a citizen of a basic civil right and also
deprives the citizen of the means of defending his life, the government
assumes an ABSOLUTE liability for that citizen's safety."

Some "progressive" said, "That's rediculous! We'd have to assign a
policeman to every citizen!"

I said, "No. To get 24/7 coverage, allowing for 40-hour workweeks,
vacations, sickleave and in-service training, you'd have to assign FIVE
policemen to each citizen.

"But I agree it's rediculous. So why not stop violating our cvil rights?"
