Thanks for joining the group. I can assure you that you will not
encounter any discrimination on this group. We have several women
members, including the Arkansas coordinator for the Second Amendment
Sisters.
The shooting sports in general are not the exclusive boys' club they
used to be, and that is most definitely a good thing. The pool of
white, southern, rural, middle-aged males that has historically
comprised the bulk of sport shooters is finite. Absolutely the only
way to ensure that the sport does not die when we do is to
diversify. Women in increasing numbers are discovering the fun,
camaraderie and feeling of freedom and security that has always been
enjoyed by members of the shooting fraternity, and they are most
definitely welcome.
