Not a lawyer, but...
Arkansas has a 'pre-emption' law that basically says lessor governments (ex.
city, county) can't pass laws more restrictive or in contradiction with the
state's laws; therefore your city or county shouldn't (note the "shouldn't")
impose other restrictions on firearm carry or ownership. And, as it
stands now, on your own property or inside your own business, you can carry
openly if you choose. I think concealed carry is better, but that is your own
choice.
And if your neighbors protest - it will be a good learning situation for them.
