Tractor height for pulling   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1100 of 1222 |
I have noticed that some pullers have rotated their final drives.
They tell me that it puts more weight on the front end and also makes
the tractor longer. Is it realy an advantage to do this? A puller I
talked with this weekend said he did it mostly to pull in the lighter
weight classes (help keep the front down without adding weight).
His tractor pulled good but not great....mabey that should tell me
something...
Has anyone else ever tryed this or know the result from doing this?
Will it effect the length of distance pulled (longer/shorter)?
