I attended schools all over the globe. Military kid. I was a serious athlete. Like a lot of guys, -I'm secretly Bi, but play the straight card.
For a long time, I thought I was totally the only guy on earth who had these feelings. In the states, most guys are so afraid of being called a "FA6" that they don't dare p1ss in the urinal next to another guy.
That's where my education started -until we relocated to another country near the middle-east & I attended school in a town that had been influenced by orthodox Jews.
It was a secular school, -but in an area that was not drowned in western programming/media. And something there blew my mind. The athletes were much more relaxed around each other (& a "FA6" was SPECIFICALLY defined as "guy who was involved with AnalSex".) And it is a CRIME there to have AnalSex -with anyone! It was even a crime to sell "adult" books & movies depicting it (among other things). Sound repressive? It wasn't.
The guys in this school were the least inhibited guys with each other of any school I'd ever been in. The closeness, casual touching, back-pats & hugs: They all knew by instinct that it was totally fine for guys to love each other & show affection, because what was considered "shameful' -wasn't loving another guy -but treating a man as a proxy for a woman!
The captain of the soccer-team was a senior & immediately decided that he liked me. The guy was tall, dark & handsome with a hott bod, thick brows, a square jaw & a coat of black hair on his chest that crept up into his neckline. By week 3, -people referred to us as best friends! By week 4 -"Ash" had me over on the weekend (just us). He totally (but respectfully) put the moves on me & had me in the raw w. him in the shower/sheets by 11PM. I learned a level of M2M intimacy wrapped up in trust & dignity that I'd NEVER seen in any gay media! There was this moral-clarity about being warm on another guy (with no genderfukk) that was so natural, it's amazing!
